General Beauty Tips

1. Cleansing

The beauty routine should always start with cleansing. Use a mild cleanser to clean your face thoroughly at least twice a day – once in the morning, and once you are back home. Always massage with gentle strokes and in a circular motion and then wash.

2. Toning

Once your face is clean, follow it up with toning. Use a good quality mild toner. Spray on your face or apply with a cotton ball. This opens up the clogged pores.

Moisturizing

After toning, apply a moisturizer. Moisturizing keeps your skin healthy and beauty prevents dryness.

4. Scrubbing

8. Sleep Well

And you thought the concept of “beauty sleep” was overrated! Not at all! Your body needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep to repair itself from the stress and strain it undergoes throughout the day. This also prevents acne and dark circles.

  3. Getting adequate amounts of sleep will lessen your risk for heart disease and diabetes.


  • Walk whenever possible during the day. Park in the farthest away parking space, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walking will boost your endorphins, the feel-good hormone in your body, plus you’ll burn a few extra calories by walking.
    • Take time each day to relax and de-stress. A few minutes each day with your feet propped up and enjoying your favourite music or TV program will reduce your stress levels and make you feel better and more energetic.
    • Don’t smoke. If you can stop, stop. If you can’t, cut down.
